There's a story behind every one of my colored pencil drawings; they are part of my life and experience.  I draw inspiration from the natural world, from my life-long love of horses and other animals, from my background in Architecture and Design and from my fascination with people and the nobility of capturing the fleeting moments of ordinary life.

Each artist must find a comfortable medium to work in and for me that is colored pencil.  I like the level of fine detail I can get but I don't limit myself to any particular subject.  Instead I let my experiences of the moment direct my path.  Life is a momentous journey, and I'm just enjoying the ride.
